Tuition and Fees

How to register?  Discover Camp utilizes an online registration system. This system allows you to manage your child’s dates of attendance, courses, and payments. The system will show you which classes are age appropriate and which classes are open. You must select one class per period for the time that your child is at camp. If you have special requests, please contact the Discover Camp office.

• Enrollment for 2024 returning families begins March 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
• Enrollment for new families begins March 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

Understanding Class Fees

• Material Fees: These cover any consumables utilized in a class, such as RC cars, rockets, engines, arts and crafts supplies, etc. These consumables are either used up and/or taken home by the camper.
• Technology Fees: Applied in technology classes that use resources such as laptops, iPads, 3D printers, digital cameras, etc.
• Track Fees: Costs for maintaining and repairing the off-road track.
• Ramp Fees: Annual costs for resurfacing and maintaining the ramps to ensure camper safety.
• Transportation Fees: Used to cover the cost of attending off-site classes. The bus company determines these rates. Off-site classes include activities such as golf, rock climbing, table tennis, bowling, dance, ice skating, and ninja warrior.
• Site Fees: Costs charged by off-site facilities for using their equipment and space.

Payment Choices

Parents have two payment options:

1. Full Payment: Pay the full amount at the time of registration.
2. Automatic Monthly Installments: The initial installment will be processed on your registration day, with the total number of payments based on your registration date. Registering earlier results in more installments. The final payment is due on or before July 31, 2025. This approach distributes camp payments over up to five months.

Discover Camp Early Registration and Loyalty Discounts
Each year, we extend a special early registration rate to families who enroll within our designated early registration period. This year, we are offering a $1,000 discount for early enrollment in the full-day summer program. To qualify for this discount, registration must be submitted by March 31, 2025. Early registration not only provides financial benefits to our loyal families but also aids us in effective planning and staff hiring. The unique feature of our early enrollment plan is that full payment is not required until July 2025, allowing for a “Register Now, Decide Later” approach. Early registration presents no drawbacks for families; it offers priority class selection, the best rates, a deferred payment option, and the flexibility to request a refund until June 1st if plans change.

Discover Camp’s “Family & Friends” Referral Program
Discover Camp has thrived through the support of word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals. We express our gratitude to families who refer new families by offering a 2.5% tuition discount. Additionally, this same discount is extended to the newly referred family. There is no restriction on the number of families you can refer, meaning the more referrals, the greater the discount for you. Referrals in the registration system will be tracked through a confidential coupon code provided to returning families via email. The discount will be applied directly to your balance, or we will credit your account and issue a check.

Sibling Discount
Each year we offer a sibling discount.

• Two children: 5% off total tuition
• Three children: 10% off total tuition
• Four children: 20% off total tuition

Note: Discounts apply only to tuition, not other fees.

Refund Policy
Parents may request a 100% refund before June 1, 2025. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds after June 1st.

Registration System
Our registration system allows parents to create their accounts ahead of registration to speed up the registration process. The system allows parents to add classes to a cart and lock spots until checkout. You can sort classes by period and grade. You must select one class per period of attendance. Each child must be enrolled in a program (e.g., Full Day Full Summer) before selecting classes.

Important Information

• Independence Day Closure: The camp will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025.
• Camp T-shirts: Each camper will receive five camp T-shirts. Campers are encouraged to wear them daily.
• Theme Days: At Discover Camp, campers love our theme days. During the sessions, we’ll have contests for special days like Halloween Day, Superhero Day, and Pajama Day, just to name a few. A theme day calendar will be sent out closer to the start of camp.
• Personal Belongings: Campers should bring a backpack, water bottle, sunscreen, and other personal items, all clearly labeled with their first and last name.
  • Camp is not responsible for personal property. Avoid bringing valuable items unless necessary for a class.
• Course Cancellations: Camp directors reserve the right to cancel or change any course due to low enrollment or if an instructor change is needed. While this is rare, it can happen occasionally.
• Behavioral Policy: Camp directors can remove a camper from the program if their behavior is considered inappropriate, dangerous, or disruptive to the learning environment of others.

Class Changes

All changes must be made by phone or e-mail by June 1st, 2025. After this date, there will be no more class changes.
