    Most of our instructors are NYS licensed teachers, skilled in differentiating the curriculum to meet all learners’ needs. Recognizing that some children may find traditional schooling less engaging, our instructors enhance the curriculum to challenge advanced students. Hobbies provide a perfect outlet for those seeking stimulating activities at home, helping to reduce excessive reliance on video games.

    Our instructors, primarily NYS licensed teachers, know how to differentiate the curriculum and adjust instruction accordingly. Each class also has 2-3 counselors assisting the teacher, providing additional support.

    We generally recommend that children wait until they meet the age requirement for certain classes. However, if you believe your child is capable of the material, we’re open to letting them try it out. You know your child best.

    Yes, you can make changes to your child’s schedule until June 1st. After this date, we finalize attendance sheets and rosters in preparation for camp.

    Yes, campers have the first three days of camp to request class changes. However, changes are not permitted on the first day.

    While most children attend for the full session, we also welcome some who attend for shorter periods. Although they may miss out on the full experience, our instructors and counselors work hard to make their time at Discover Camp enjoyable and meaningful. Please contact the us to discuss appropriate classes for shorter attendance.
